We were delighted to welcome 2007 to 2008 District Governor Brian Doggrell to a recent meeting Monday lunchtime meeting. This will probably be Brian's last official visit as District Governer-Elect Les Lee will take over the reins on 1st July.
We look forward to welcoming Les on his new official capacity very soon after his induction!
Rotary Clubs around the world are organised into administrative areas known as Districts. Hoddesdon Rotary Club is a member of Rotary District 1260 which roughly covers the three counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. There are presently some 53 Rotary Clubs in this district.
Each District is presided over by a District Governor and Hoddesdon Rotary Club is very proud that Club member Rotarian Meirion Morris was District Governor in 2006 - 2007.
District 1260 is the conduit by which Hoddesdon Rotary Club can comment on Rotary policy at District, National & International Level. All Club Committees are mirrored at District level and District 1260 offers support and advice for all member clubs.
