Rotary Clubs around the world are organised into administrative areas known as Districts. Hoddesdon Rotary Club is a member of Rotary District 1260 which roughly covers the three counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. There are presently around 50 Rotary Clubs in this district. The UK District structure is under review and consultation with members at present.

Each District is presided over by a District Governor and Hoddesdon Rotary Club is very proud that Club member Rotarian Meirion Morris was District Governor in 2006 - 2007.

District 1260 is the conduit by which Hoddesdon Rotary Club can comment on Rotary policy at District, National & International Level. All Club Committees are mirrored at District level and District 1260 offers support and advice for all member clubs.

2022/23 District Governor is Andrew (Andy) Calvert of the Luton Someries Club.
