Hoddesdon Rotary Club Celebrates Silver Partner Award for ShelterBox Support

The Rotary Club of Hoddesdon is proud to announce its recent recognition as a Silver Partner of ShelterBox, a global disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and tools for families robbed of their homes by conflict or natural disaster. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the club’s long-standing commitment to international humanitarian aid.

Over the years, Hoddesdon Rotary has consistently supported ShelterBox through fundraising, awareness campaigns, and community engagement. The club was previously honoured with Bronze Partner status, reflecting its dedication to ShelterBox’s mission. This year’s elevation to Silver Partner is a testament to the club’s continued efforts and the generosity of its members and supporters.

ShelterBox has been at the forefront of emergency response efforts worldwide, delivering aid to families affected by disasters in places such as Syria, Ukraine, the Philippines, and Morocco. In the past 12 months alone, the charity has provided shelter and essential supplies to thousands of displaced people, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
