Contact Chris Waddington : Vocational Commitee Chairman (2008 - 2009)

The Vocational Committee addresses local community needs for educational and training bursaries, advice to young job seekers and educational competitions, also many vocation-oriented visits and cultural activities for Club members themselves. We seek to promote understanding and highest ethical standards in business and professional life - Rotary service through the medium of our workplaces. We have won the District Shield on several occasions for the range of our projects.

Each year the 3 best pupils from each school each gain a certificate, the top one a book token and the overall winner a day at a place specializing in their choice of vocation.
