We were chartered on 12th September 1947, the year that Princess Elizabeth and Lt Philip Mountbatten were married.

We are a friendly bunch of around 40 individuals who share commitment to our local community, making a difference to those in need further afield and enjoying  fellowship and our social activities.

Active members range in age up to retirement and we have a thriving   “Friends”   section for those in sympathy with our  aims but who cannot join for the present through work or other commitments. Friends receive our Newsletters and invitations to all events. There are 5 local Rotary Clubs, including Amwell, Hertford, Hertford Shires and Ware and we often cooperate in joint events. . Most members live locally and work in the local area or London.
